Chiranjeevi’s latest satirical comments take aim at Rajinikanth

It appears that Chiranjeevi’s latest satirical comments about BGM in movies were aimed at Rajinikanth. It is very well known to everyone that Megastar Chiranjeevi’s film Bholaa Shankar has been the biggest disaster of recent times. The regular mix of action sequences, comedy, and songs were not enough to make it a success at the box office. On the other hand, owing to the latest trend, the other senior heroes in neighboring states registered blockbusters with their recent films.

It is widely known that Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth scored big hits with their recent films Vikram and Jailer respectively. The key to the success of those films was choosing age-appropriate roles and limited action. It appears that Chiru had taken a dig at this kind of films and those who wanted him to make such kinds of films.

Chiranjeevi talked about stopping traditional dances, fights, and elevating heroism by BGM at a recent media meet, which would bring him money and comfort. Chiranjeevi acknowledged that it is impractical, as he believes that the dances, fights, and physical effort must be put in by the hero himself and BGM should not be the main highlight.

He emphasized that everyone, including himself, will not be satisfied without his mark’s dances and fights, but his satire about BGM appeared like it was against Superstar Rajinikanth and his film, Jailer. Rajinikanth’s Jailer became a blockbuster, thanks to him playing a retired policeman role and limiting himself to very few fight scenes.

The story was elevated to the next level by the background music given by Anirudh Ravichander. In the recent success meet of Jailer, Rajinikanth himself mentioned it. So when Chiranjeevi stressed the term BGM, everyone linked it to the words of Rajinikanth.
