NTR—Prashanth Neel’s film was announced a long time ago with a release date of 9th January 2026, targeting the Sankranthi festival. However, the film did not go on sets as per the plan and faced a delay. Finally, NTR 31 started the shooting, and it is on track for a Sankranthi 2026 release, which means Chiranjeevi must face NTR at the box office.
Chiranjeevi and Anil Ravipudi’s Movie for Sankranthi 2026
After Sankranthiki Vasthunam’s massive success, Chirnajeevi and Anil Ravipudi’s next film got announced for a Sankranthi 2026 release. As NTR’s movie shoot plan was delayed, there have been discussions that the movie might miss Sankranthi.
But finally, the movie started its shooting on 20th February in Ramoji Film City, with a huge number of junior actors and a team officially announced with the poster. NTR will join the shooting schedule in March.
NTR – Neel Movie on track for Sankranthi Release
The news is that there is no chance for NTR 31 to be postponed from Sankranthi, as Neel planned continuous schedules for this film without any breaks. Prashanth Neel is known to complete the schedules as planned and even before. The target is to complete the shooting within 7-8 Months and to spend some big time on post-production.
With this, NTR – Neel and Chiranjeevi – Anil Ravipudi both biggies must clash at the Sankranthi 2026, and Chiranjeevi must face NTR at the box office. The clash is on, and no other biggie will not come on the next Sankranthi mostly. But 1-2 medium budget films can join the race.
