Mega Star Chiranjeevi apart from his acting and stardom is also known as a man with a golden heart. The ‘Acharya’ actor over the last many years has been donating his time simultaneously to both acting and philanthropic activities.
The latest case is that of Tamil actor Ponnambalam. The actor who has also played the villain in Chiranjeevi’s Gharana Mugudu, Hitler, etc. has been suffering from a kidney ailment. Chiranjeevi immediately stepped forward and donated Rs 2 lakhs for the operation.
The news about Chiranjeevi’s help was revealed by Ponnambalam himself, who shared about the kind gesture of Chiranjeevi via video. The viral video has Ponnambalam thanking ‘Annayya’ Chiranjeevi for his timely help.
In 2020, the Mega Star set up a Corona Crisis Charity (CCC) last year to take care of the emergency needs of all the cine workers. Additionally, he recently announced that all the cine workers of Tollywood will be administered free COVID vaccine. Recently, the Mega Star announced the setting up of an Oxygen Bank. This will be functional in a weeks time across all the districts.
