Chhaava starring Vicky Kaushal has become a sensational blockbuster after receiving unanimous positive reviews. The film which released last weekend collected very huge numbers and also held super strong today. The makers are surprised to see the reception coming in from the Audience.
The performance of the film indicates that the team has missed using a strategy. Chhaava was an adaptation of Chatrapthi Sambhaji Maharaj, the elder son of Chatrapathi Shivaji. So, the film has all the abilities to attract a major section of the audience. At a time when even small-budgeted films are doing wonders at the box office, Chhaava really missed this advantage.
The team should have released the film in all the South Indian languages. It could have delivered much more numbers if this had happened. The Hindi version numbers itself have posted huge numbers in major cities in Telugu States. So, if there was a Telugu version the reach and revenue could have been big.
It needs to be seen if the makers now decide to dub it in other languages and plan a release. Chhaava has already posted highest numbers on Sunday beating Pushpa 2 which held this record until now.
