Originally planned for release tomorrow, the film Lockdown, starring Anupama Parameswaran, has been postponed because of severe rainfall in Chennai, and the filmmakers have yet to reveal a new release date.

In the film Lockdown, Anupama Parameswaran portrays Anitha, a young woman from a humble background who grapples with emotional and psychological challenges during lockdown after discovering she is pregnant following a party, despite having no memory of any intimate encounter that evening.
Under the production of Subaskaran at Lyca Productions, this film will star Anupama Parameswaran alongside a diverse ensemble featuring Charlie, Nirosha, Priya Venkat, Livingston, Indhumathi, Rajkumar, Shamji, Lollu Sabha Maran, Vinayak Raj, Vidhu, Abhirami, Ravathi, Sanjivie, Priya Ganesh, and Asha, among others.
The talented NR Raghunanthan composed the score for the film.
