The Chandrabose family was struck by tragedy following the sudden demise of the celebrated lyricist’s brother, Rajendra Prasad (Kanukuntla Rajendra Prasad), on Monday, May 4th. The Oscar winner Chandrabose and his family members are in deep shock over the incident that occurred in Annamayya district, Andhra Pradesh.
Sudden Death in Kalikiri
60-year-old Rajendra, who was based in Bengaluru for business, had traveled to Kalikiri in Annamayya district to address a land-related matter. Family sources revealed he visited Bengaluru with friends before heading to Madanapalle and Kalikiri for property discussions.
During his stay, Rajendra experienced mild health discomfort and received treatment at a nearby hospital. Later, while having breakfast at a local hotel, he suffered a severe heart attack and passed away on the spot.
Family Raises Concerns
The circumstances surrounding his death have raised suspicions among Chandrabose family members, prompting further scrutiny. A postmortem examination was conducted at Gandhi Hospital mortuary in Secunderabad to determine the exact cause of death.
The Telugu film industry has expressed heartfelt condolences to Chandrabose during this difficult time.
