Roshan’s Champion was released this Christmas and failed to achieve success at the box office, and now the film’s OTT streaming details are out. The film was expected to be a big hit as Roshan took a long time after Blockbuster debut Pelli SandaD.
Also, the film’s production house, Vyjayanthi Movies, is known for delivering classic blockbusters, so the film had big expectations. But, when it hit theaters on 25th December, Roshan’s Champion failed to impress at the box office and ended up as a big failure.
The movie’s digital rights have been bought by Netflix for a high price of around 16 Cr for all South languages. The buzz is that it will stream from 23rd January in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.

Made as a period sports action drama, Champion is directed by Praadeep Advaitham, starring Roshan Meka and Anaswara Rajan. The film’s plot follows an aspiring football player whose dreams of moving to England become entangled with the historic Bhairanpally revolt in pre-independence Hyderabad.
It also stars Nandamuri Kalyana Chakravarthy, Kay Kay Menon, Santhosh Prathap, Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore, Kovai Sarala, Prakash Raj, and Ranvir Shorey in crucial roles.
