Ayalaan takes the lead over Captain Miller.

Captain Miller and Ayalaan are not releasing for Sankranthi in Telugu. It is widely known that Dhanush’s Captain Miller was announced for 12th January release. Reportedly, Siva Karthikeyan’s Ayalaan also looking at the same date release. Both the films are made with a huge budget and a record budget in the career of the respective heroes.

Both the films have planned for a release in the Telugu states but as Sankranthi is packed with many Telugu films, it is being reported that Captain Miller and Ayalaan are now postponing the Telugu release for other dates and only the Tamil versions will release on 12th January. Recently, Rajinikanth’s Lal Salaam was also postponed due to the same issue as they wanted simultaneous release everywhere.

The strategic timing of numerous Telugu releases, including Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram, the superhero movie HanuMan, Venkatesh’s Saindhav, Ravi Teja’s Eagle, and Nagarjuna’s Naa Saami Ranga to capitalize on the Sankranti holiday, has influenced the decision of both the Tamil films to get postponed. Captain Miller and Ayalaan are not releasing for Sankranthi in Telugu.

Captain Miller’s producers have confirmed that it won’t be released in Telugu, only available to audiences in Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi. However, the distributors of Ayalaan in the Telugu states have yet to announce their decision officially. There’s talk that the Telugu versions of Captain Miller and Ayalaan might be delayed by one or two weeks, which would allow the new Telugu releases to make their mark at the box office.
