Budget Bomb Hits Indian 3

Indian 2, starring Kamal Haasan and directed by Shankar, was planned as a single part, but due to the big runtime and cost, it was divided into two parts. Now, the next part, Indian 3, is hit by the budget bomb.

Most of the shoot of the third part of the film had already been completed before the release of Indian 2, and the plan was to release it in July and complete the balance shoot of the third part and release the film immediately.

But Indian 2’s result came as a shocker to the team, and it was not only an outright disaster, but it also received huge criticism and trolls, including Kamal Haasan’s performance. With that, Indian 3 was put on hold, and at the same time, Shankar’s other film, Game Changer, and Kamal Haasan’s Thug Life ended up as huge disasters.
