Brahmastra’s golden run at the box office has been quite a pleasant surprise for Bollywood trade circles as well as Ranbir Kapoor fans. While heavy expectations were set on the film way before its release, nobody expected it to perform the way it is now.
On the 1st day, Brahmastra collected around Rs 68Cr gross worldwide, and on the 2nd day, it’s expected to do more than Rs75Cr. If trends are anything to go by, the 3rd day will be the biggest of all. The film will easily cross the 200Cr gross mark by Sunday itself.
This is a terrific weekend and a much-needed one for Bollywood which has been reeling from big-budget disasters like Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan.
Bollywood’s most ambitious project Brahmastra has been in making for quite some time. The film also stars Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, and Nagarjuna in key roles. This fantasy adventure film is a pan-India release and the lead cast along with director Ayan Mukherjee and producer Karan Johar have been extremely busy promoting the film all over.
