Tamil Star Hero Suriya recently started a new film with Telugu director Venky Atluri. The actor faced two back-to-back failures, Kanguva and Retro. Now, the latest news is that a blockbuster Malayalam director will direct Suriya in an upcoming film.
Suriya’s 45th film, directed by RJ Balaji, has almost completed shooting. As said above, the Ghajini actor signed his next with Venky Atluri, which is expected to complete the shoot by this year.
According to the plan, Suriya should have immediately started Vetrimaaran’s VaadiVaasal. However, the film was dropped, and the director has already started a film with Simbu, which will be a part of the Vada Chennai franchise.
Suriya to work with Aavesham Director Jithu Madhavan
As of now, the actor is in discussions with multiple directors for the upcoming films, and reportedly, a blockbuster Malayalam director will direct Suriya in an upcoming film. Most probably after Venky Atluri’s film, Suriya will join hands with Jithu Madhavan.
Jithu directed crazy films like Romancham and Aavesham. Both films are sensational blockbusters at the box office. Kalaipuli S. Thanu, the producer who was supposed to make Vaadivaasal with Suriya, will be producing this movie.
