Abishan Jeevinth impressed everyone with his directorial debut, Tourist Family, featuring Sasikumar and Simran in the main roles. The blockbuster director now turns into a lead hero for an upcoming film, produced by Soundarya Rajinikanth.
In the film temporarily named Production No. 4, Abishan will take on the lead role of Sathya. Soundarya is teaming up with Pasilian Nazerath and Magesh Raj Pasilian to make the film. The crew is busy shooting the film at the moment, with backing from MRP Entertainment and Zion Films.
The Tamil film industry is known for directors becoming actors and actors becoming directors more often. Now, after scoring a blockbuster like Tourist Family, Abishan Jeevinth turns as a lead hero for Soundarya Rajinikanth’s upcoming film.
Soundarya’s most recent movie was Velailla Pattadhaari 2, which came out in 2017 and followed up on the 2014 film Vellailla Pattadhaari. Dhanush reprised the most favorite character, Raghuvaran, a civil engineer, in the film, which failed to meet expectations.
Abishan has been in front of the camera before this upcoming film. In Tourist Family, he also acted along with directing it and took on the part of a struggling young man dealing with alcoholism, mourning his mom, and getting into trouble with the neighbors.
