Film industry is one such place where no one can decide on success or failure. But, with some projects, there is a strong feeling right from day 1 that it might not work out. There have been various instances of top stars admitting that they knew the film would fail right in its shooting stage. But, still went ahead with the film due to obligations. Something similar happened with Bhola Shankar where even fans were not so confident.
From die-hard fans to the common audience, everyone knew that the remake of Vedalam will not work here as we have seen a lot of movies in Telugu itself with the same theme. And with a director like Meher Ramesh onboard, even the fans were not excited. The film, as expected released to mostly negative talk and poor reviews. While Megastar Chiranjeevi’s stardom managed to pull the audience initially, it looks highly difficult for the movie to sustain for the next few days.
It still remains a mystery as to how Chiranjeevi was convinced and how the producers got ready to put such a massive budget and how even the distributors and exhibitors bought the film for huge amounts. This total calculation and trade circle proved that industry is blind undoubtedly and fans and general film audience had more awareness than the insiders regarding the movie result.
