Bhola Shankar is a biggest disaster than NTR’s Shakti at the box office

The box-office performance of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Bhola Shankar has been disappointing, with many fans expressing their discontent at yet another remake of their favorite hero. The film was surrounded with doubts over its box-office result right from the day it was announced, but there was some hope that Megastar’s box-office pull might help in recovering the business. However, the routine staging of Meher Ramesh, with predictable and outdated taking without an exciting script, meant that the film had very few viewers.

Bhola Shankar’s dismal performance has led it to become a bigger disaster than NTR’s Shakti at the box office. Shakti is one of the biggest disasters at the box office. The movie was made on a 40Cr+ budget and just collected 19Cr share worldwide, with the producer and buyers facing a big loss.

Now the same director, Meher Ramesh breaks this record with Bhola Shankar as the film is now heading towards the biggest disaster for him by surpassing Shakti. Bhola Shankar just collected around 19Cr share worldwide on opening day which includes hires, GST and MG’s in many territories.

So if we consider only worth share the opening will not even be 11Cr and on the 2nd day the film has witnessed even big drop and just collected around 3 – 3.5Cr range worldwide and 15th August will be mostly the last day for the film at the box office.

So, now looking at this trend, the film may even not cross the 25Cr worth share in its closing and the budget of the film more than 100Cr which means on any terms it will be the biggest disaster than Shakti. What is more surprising is even in some stations the closing numbers of Bhola Shankar will be below than Shakti.
