Famous actors like Rana Daggubati, Vijay Deverakonda, and Prakash Raj are part of a group of 25 celebs in Telangana dealing with a police case for supposedly promoting illegal betting apps, according to media reports. The fans of VD are shocked as a police case has been filed against Vijay Devarakonda.

The lineup of stars who have allegedly promoted the betting apps features Praneetha, Nidhi Agarwal, Ananya Nagalla, Siri Hanumanthu, Sreemukhi, Varshini Sounderajan, Vasanthi Krishnan, Shoba Shetty, Amrutha Chowdary, Nayani Pavani, Neha Pathan, Pandu, Padhmavathi, Imran Khan, Vishnu Priya, Harsha Sai, Sunny Yadav, Shyamala, Tasty Teja, and Bandaru Sheshayani Supritha.
Businessman Phanindra Sarma filed a complaint, leading to the FIR registration. Sarma claimed that these apps cause people to lose their hard-earned money. As said above, the movie lovers and netizens are in for a shock as they learnt about a police case being filed against Vijay Devarakonda for promoting the betting apps.

The First Information Report (FIR) said as quoted by the media, “Thousands of lakhs of rupees are involved in these illegal platforms and it is also leading many families into distress, especially that of middle-class and lower middle-class.”
“These platforms are encouraging the public, especially people that are in dire need of money, to invest their hard-earned and family money into those apps/websites and slowly get addicted to them, leading to total financial collapse,” it adds.
Also, the complainant (Sarma) nearly invested in one such website but decided against it after his family warned him.
