Sampath Nandi, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming sports action drama Seetimarr shared some details about the movie. Speaking to a media house the director said that the process of filming was quite challenging and they had to audition as many as 700 girls to select 24 Kabaddi players. It was with great difficulty that his team was able to finalise the cast of the film.
Out of these 24 young actresses, 4 are National level kabaddi players who were trained in acting and a workshop also took place for 3 months. A national Kabaddi coach was hired to get the technical aspects of the game right.
The director will be teaming up with Gopichand for the second time in his career after 2017 hit Goutham Nanda. The film will also see the combination go Sampath Nandi and Tamannah. The two have earlier worked in Racha and Bengal Tiger. The makers after multiple delays have decided to release the action entertainer on September 3rd.
Gopichand will be playing a Kabaddi coach in the film produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under Srinivasaa Silver Screen.
