Kollywood Director Atlee tasted big success in the form of Jawan starring Shah Rukh Khan that grossed more than 1000 crores worldwide. But, the Director has been struggling to lock his next project. There was earlier a plan of a collaboration with Allu Arjun which had been shelved for budget and remuneration issues. Then, it was rumoured that he planned a multi-starrer with Salman Khan and Kamal Haasan, which too was shelved.
Recently, there was buzz that Atlee came back to Allu Arjun again for a film which excited the fans and audience again. They also expected the film to begin very soon. But, it is now learnt that the film faces the same budget and remuneration issues. Atlee and Allu Arjun are believed to be quoting high remuneration for this due to their popularity with their previous blockbusters, Jawan and Pushpa 2.
Atlee is also planning to make only high-budget films, and the film needs a huge span and making. Allu Arjun is also riding too high with the popularity of his Pushpa 2, as said. But Atlee may not deliver the success like Pan India sensation Pushpa 2 with his style. Jawan hasn’t catapulted the range of Atlee by far. His market has surely expanded, but the credit for the success of Jawan largely went to Shah Rukh Khan’s stardom. This calculation has been pulling the Producers back to invest big in Atlee’s film.
