Rocking Star Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2 has added another feather to its cap. The film has now become the highest all-time grosser across the PVR Cinemas franchises all over. This action thriller has collected a whopping Rs 124 crores at PVR Cinemas alone.
The second spot on this list is held by SS Rajamouli’s RRR which collected a massive Rs 93. 7 crores. These figures were revealed at PVR Quarterly Investor Update Meeting. After KGF: Chapter 2 and RRR, other notable names in this list are Bhool Bhulaiyya with Rs 47.4 crores, Dr Strange with Rs 45.8 crores, and Vikram at Rs 26.6 crores.
These numbers are another strong indicator of the pan- India appeal of the KGF brand. The film collected Rs 101.65 crores share in just the Telugu version and did a solid business in the Bollywood market as well.
KGF also recorded the highest ever tickets sold on Book My Show with 17.1 million tickets sold on the portal. This Prashanth Neel project has created another big record which only 3 Indian films have done so far. It has crossed the Rs 1000 crores benchmark at the box office. Only Bahubali 2, Dangal, and RRR have achieved this so far and it is indeed a massive moment for the entire team.
