In a surprising development, the Telugu distribution space is witnessing a shift, as Sitara Entertainments, which has consistently collaborated with Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations (SVC) for Nizam distribution, is now reportedly in final talks with Mythri Movie Makers to handle the Nizam rights for the much-anticipated film “War 2.” Sources suggest the deal is nearly closed.

Traditionally, Sitara and SVC have had a strong association in the Nizam area, with almost every major Sitara release being distributed through Dil Raju’s network. Even during the recent Sankranti season, despite Sitara’s own film “Daaku Maharaj” competing with SVC’s “Game Changer” and “Sankranthiki Vasthunam,” Nizam rights still went to SVC highlighting the mutual respect and trust.

This time, however, the situation appears different. The shift is not linked to Asian Cinemas or any external pressure, but seems to stem from internal strategic reasons. If the deal with Mythri is finalized, it could mark a significant change in the business dynamics between Sitara and SVC.

With Sitara continuously handling big-ticket projects, this move could be a setback for SVC, signaling a potential reshuffle in long-standing industry alliances. The reason behind this shift remains speculative but certainly raises eyebrows.
