Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal has created a box-office storm and has consistently performed well across territories since its release. The film did well last weekend despite the new releases of Dunki and Salaar.
Animal managed to collect Rs 5Cr net in India for the weekend. Total India’s net collection is now 538Cr; the gross is Rs 650Cr while the overseas gross is 230Cr. The total worldwide gross now stands at Rs 880 crores.
The movie is doing well today and it needs to run 2 more weeks to join the 900Cr club. The movie might just miss the mark with a slight margin and either way, this has been a sensational run by this Ranbir Kapoor starrer. Animal is now the 3rd biggest grosser for Bollywood cinema [Excluding China]. Jawan occupies the first position while Pathaan stands second. Animal is also Ranbir Kapoors best performing film a the box office and broke his previous best Sanju record with a huge 300Cr margin.
Animal also stars Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna in key roles while Tripti Dimri, Shakti Kapoor, Suresh Oberoi, and others are featured in supporting roles. Sandeep Reddy Vanga, debuted with Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh, focussed on a father and son’s toxic relationship in Animal.
