Animal movie is establishing a new benchmark for Bollywood overseas

Animal worldwide collections — Heading towards 1000Cr mark. Only three films from Bollywood have made 1000Cr: Dangal, Pathaan, and Jawan. If we consider only the Hindi version, then only Pathaan and Jawan have crossed 1000 Cr Gross, and Animal is expected to join this club.

Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal is just a day away from its release and the hype and excitement of the audience is at its peak. The film has managed to create a solid buzz in Telugu states, and the opening day figures are sure to shock many. As per estimates, Animal might set a new record for the highest opener in Telugu states by a Bollywood film.

In north India, the film is on the path to a strong opening due to Ranbir Kapoor’s stardom and solid trailer. It’s the overseas market that will be quite interesting to watch. Bollywood has set new overseas collection benchmarks this year with Pathaan creating an all-time record opening for Bollywood cinema with a $4.6M+ start without even premier. Tiger3 which had full-day premiers managed to break this record and opens with 4.9M+ creating a new all-time record.

Now Animal is all set to break this record with a good margin and it will be the 1st $5 million dollar opening for Bollywood cinema. The opening day including premier numbers is expected to be around $5.5M it will be the new benchmark for Bollywood.

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor in key roles. Bhushan Kumar has backed this project.
