Director Anil Ravipudi and Megastar Chiranjeevi are both considered strong Sankranthi heroes. Over the past ten years, most of their major successes have come from Sankranthi releases. Now, there is a buzz that the actor and director are set to clash with each other next year.
Before this year, Chiranjeevi delivered two big Sankranthi blockbusters, Khaidi No. 150 and Waltair Veerayya. Similarly, Anil Ravipudi scored three massive Sankranthi hits with F2, Sarileru Neekevvaru, and Sankranthiki Vasthunam.
This year, their first collaboration, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, was released in theaters and is dominating the Sankranthi season with the highest collections. Interestingly, Chiranjeevi and Anil Ravipudi have never faced a Sankranthi box office clash so far.
But this could change next year. The blockbuster duo of Anil Ravipudi and Venkatesh are set to collaborate for the fourth time, with plans to release their film during Sankranthi 2027. At the same time, Chiranjeevi is reuniting with director Bobby for another project, which is also expected to target a Sankranthi 2027 release.
If both films stick to their schedules, it will mark the first-ever Sankranthi clash involving Chiranjeevi and Anil Ravipudi.
