Skanda, the upcoming mass action entertainer, is one of the most anticipated films in recent times as the movie has a crazy combination of Boyapati Sreenu and Ram Pothineni. With this crazy combination, the movie was able to record a pre business which is around 50Cr. Now Out of that 50Cr, close to 45Cr business was done from Telugu states.
The advance bookings for Skanda were opened on last weekend and though the initial pace was very slow, after the release trailer got out the bookings have picked the momentum and still, it can be said the film did not register any great bookings but overall a decent advance booking considering a weekday release and mainly for mass films more number of audience will come through walk-ins.
Also, the revenue of B, C Centers will be high, so the film can be expected to get good early openings and if the movie with talk is positive then the movie will have an excellent jump. The movie also has decent advance bookings in the USA and the trade is expecting a 100K$+ premiers which is a superb number for the pre business. As it will be a long weekend, a double-digit opening worldwide can be considered as a decent start for the film.
The movie’s album was produced by S Thaman. Srinivasaa Chitturi produced Skanda under the banner of Srinivasaa Silver Screen, making it the most expensive movie for Ram. The movie features Sree Leela as the female lead, and Saiee Manjrekar will play a crucial role. The movie presented by ZEE Studios South and Pavan Kumar features Santosh Detake as the cinematographer. Editing is handled by Tammiraju.
Skanda will have a Pan India release on September 28th in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.
