Mahesh Babu to Bring Dolby Cinema to AMB Classic, Hyderabad

Viewers will be delighted to know that the Dolby Cinema Screen is coming to Hyderabad, and the multiplex will also have 4K laser projection and Dolby Atmos sound technologies.

After launching South India’s first Dolby Cinema at AMB Cinemas Bangalore, Mahesh Babu is set to bring the premium format to Hyderabad — at AMB Classic, his upcoming multiplex at RTC X Roads.

From Bangalore to Hyderabad

AMB Cinemas Kapali in Bangalore officially opened on January 16, 2026, at the former Kapali Theatre. The 9-screen multiplex features a 588-seater, dual 6K Dolby Vision screen — South India’s first Dolby Cinema — offering a world-class viewing experience to Bengaluru audiences.

AMB Classic at RTC X Roads

AMB Classic is a 7-screen premium multiplex coming up at the former Sudarshan 70MM site in Hyderabad, developed by Mahesh Babu and Asian Cinemas. RTC X Roads — Hyderabad’s go-to movie hub — will soon host a Dolby Cinema screen alongside 4K laser projection and Dolby Atmos sound.
