Allu Arjun creates history by winning the National Award

Icon Star Allu Arjun creates history by winning the National Award in the best actor category for his impeccable performance in the film, Pushpa The Rise (2021). He is the first actor from the Telugu film industry to win the best actor award, and that too for an A rated movie.

While Allu Arjun wins the National Award for Best Actor for his blockbuster movie Pushpa: The Rise. Sukumar and Devi Sri Prasad won Best Director and Best Music Director respectively as well.

With his performance as Pushpa Raj, Allu Arjun captured the hearts of audiences. The actor underwent a significant transformation for the role and altered everything, including talking, walking, acting, and breathing to be like his Pushpa Raj character. Allu Arjun’s performance, body language, and ‘Thaggede Le’ dialogue have made everyone a fan of him. From a child to an old man, everyone has attempted to recreate Allu Arjun’s Pushpa Raj body language and popular dialogue.

Other nominated stars in the category of Best Actor were Jr NTR and Ram Charan for RRR, Suriya for Jai Bhim, Dhanush for Karnan, Silambarasan TR for Maanadu, Arya for Sarpatta, actor Joju George for Nayattu.

The announcement of the 69th National Awards was exceptional as it acknowledges the work of the artists and filmmakers in 2021 when the world was trembling fearing the COVID-19 pandemic that had created havoc across the globe. Following a significant shutdown, very few movies in 2021 attempted to revive the theatrical run while bringing the audiences back to the big screen.
