Akkineni Brothers Are Gearing Up For Bif Budget Pan India Films

The Akkineni brothers, Akhil Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya have not been in the best of form lately. Akhil’s latest movie Agent had released with so many expectations but it had a disastrous run at the box office.

And this is the same for Naga Chaitanya as well. In fact, his last 2 movies, Thank You and Custody both were absolute washouts. Both of these films failed to pull audiences into the theatres.

But in all of this sad news, there still seems to be a ray of hope for the Akkineni brothers. Both Akhil and Naga Chaitanya still seem to be getting some good Pan-Indian movie offers despite facing some major setbacks.

Akhil’s next film is with a new director and is being bankrolled by UV Creations. It is said to be a fantasy genre film with a very high budget.

It is too early to say anything but if the makers are going down the fantasy route, it would be best if Akhil takes very little remuneration so that the maximum budget can be allocated for the movie. If not, it might just end up as another half-baked fantasy VFX film. But as I said, it is too early to say anything, so let us hope for the best.

Similarly, even Naga Chaitanya is going to be collaborating with Chandoo Mondeti for a big-budget Pan-Indian film with a sea backdrop. Their previous venture Savyasachi was forgettable at best, so let us hope with Chandoo Mondeti’s newfound form with Karthikeya 2, the result is different this time.
