Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and Nandamuri Balakrishna are set to clash for this Diwali. According to reports, Akhanda and Khiladi will be releasing on the festive occasion on 4th November. Incidentally, both the movies were supposed to release on May 28th however, got delayed due to Covid second wave.
An official announcement regarding the same will be out in a week. This is not the first time the duo will be clashing at the box office. Their first box office meeting happened in 2008 when Krishna and Okka Magadu released for Sankranti. This was followed by a clash very next year with Mithrudu and Kick which was released in a span of a week in May. In 2011 Mass Maharaja’s Mirapakayi and Balayya’s Parama Veera Chakra were released for Sankranthi.
Ravi Teja has reigned supreme on all the three previous occasions and it needs to be seen if he can continue his winning streak. This time, however, it’s going to be an interesting fight as Ravi Teja’s action thriller will have opposition from Balayya and Boyapati’s successful combo.
