Till now, no Balakrishna film has done ₹100 Cr in theatrical business, but Akhanda 2 has already crossed ₹100 Cr in the Telugu states alone, with worldwide business closing in on ₹125 Cr.
Distributors have shown immense confidence in the film and bought it for massive prices. The makers are also extremely confident about the output. After discussions with distributors, considering the high rates, the Akhanda 2 team has decided to screen a record number of premieres on the night of December 4th across India.
Like other biggies, Akhanda 2 will also have special ticket hike permissions for the premieres, and both state governments are likely to approve whatever permissions the team requests.
