Akhanda 2, the crazy sequel in the combination of Balakrishna and Boyapati Sreenu, was announced for a grand theatrical release worldwide on September 25. Now, the latest news is that the film has been officially postponed.
For a few months, there was a continuous buzz that the sequel of Akhanda will not be released on the said date, and the rumors became strong when Pawan Kalyan’s OG was announced to be released on the same date.

However, the makers kept saying that the release will not be delayed, but now they have officially announced that Akhanda 2 is postponed, and a new date will be announced soon.
The team mentioned that the VFX and post-production work of the film demands more time, and henceforth, they decided to work on another. They also said that the fans’ expectations will be carefully addressed, and the film will certainly enthrall them by surpassing their hype.

Anil Sunkara, the producer, has made some interesting comments about the film. Speaking in a recent interview, he stated, “I have watched a few scenes in Akhanda 2, and trust me, the fans will go berserk in theaters. Balayya Babu has just killed it with his mass aura.”
It is widely known that whenever Balakrishna acts under Boyapati’s direction, things tend to work big time. We all saw what havoc they created with the first part of Akhanda at the box office.
