Akhanda, the film of Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu was a blockbuster grossing more than 100 crores worldwide. The film also gave a big relief to Balakrishna who was suffering was reeling with back to back disasters. The team has also planned a sequel which had the pooja ceremony done recently. The sequel is also titled Akhanda Thandavam. Now, Akhanda 2 has begun the filming process officially.
The shoot will start from tomorrow i.e., 11th December in Ramoji Film City and the film is planned to release for the Dussehra season of 2025. On the other hand, Balakrishna’s other film, Daaku Maharaaj is aiming for Sankranthi season next year. The film is also in the post production stage.
Akhanda 2 is the biggest venture in Balakrishna’s career and the combination of the film also justifies it. The film will also be released as a Pan India release due to the popularity of Akhanda.
