Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar’s heist-thriller Thunivu is all set to stream on Netflix. The movie will be available for the audiences in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi languages. The film will drop on the OTT platform on February 8 at midnight (12 AM IST).
Thunivu starts with a cop striking a deal with a group of thugs who plot to rob Your Bank and share the looted money. The gang begins their plan and enters the bank only to realize that there is another person, Dark devil (Ajith Kumar) inside who also came to loot. He takes down a few thugs and makes the customers, employees, and other thugs his hostages. Who is he? Why did he plan to rob the bank? Who is helping him out? Answers to these questions form the rest of the story.
Thunivu had got mixed reports from early shows on day 1, and it was not a regular commercial or family entertainer as well. So, everyone from the audience and trade circles said that like the previous Ajith’s film Valimai, this film will be a loss venture, but the film surpassed everyone’s expectations and became a blockbuster.
Ajith received a fantastic response for his performance in ‘Thunivu’. However, H Vinoth’s direction didn’t get the same appreciation, as everybody felt he should have done a much better job in handling the film and a star hero like Ajith.
Manju Warrier, Mohana Sundaram, Samuthirakani, John Kokken, and Veera have played crucial roles in the film. Boney Kapoor, in association with ZEE Studios, has produced the film. Thunivu was released on January 11th.
