Following the success of Thunivu, Ajith Kumar promptly signed his next movie, Vidaamuyarchi. The project faced multiple delays, such as a director change, but it finally went on floors in Azerbaijan earlier this month. Now the inside reports suggest that Thala Ajith Kumar is said to be offered a massive 150Cr remuneration for his upcoming film.
The media had speculated about who will direct Ajith next, and several names, including Siruthai Siva and Vishnuvardhan, were mentioned as favorites. But the inside sources have reported that Ajith has made an unexpected choice for his next movie.
The director of the recent blockbuster hit ‘Mark Antony’ starring Vishal and S J Suryah, Adhik Ravichandran is said to be the lucky man to helm ‘AK 63’. The filmmaker is known to be an ardent Ajith fan and has also portrayed one of the villains in ‘Nerkonda Paarvai’, which has led to their bond becoming stronger. Adhik mentioned that he narrated the ‘Mark Antony’ line to Ajith, who initially encouraged him by stating that the Idea was excellent.
It has been reported that Elred Kumar of RS Infotainment, which made Vetrimaaran’s ‘Viduthalai’ and its sequel, will produce the Ajith – Adhik project, and the production house has reportedly offered a staggering amount of 150Cr to Ajith Kumar as remuneration. The official announcement is expected by the end of the year.
Meanwhile, ‘Vidaamuyarchi’, produced by Lyca Productions, is directed by Magizh Thirumeni, with Anirudh Ravichander scoring the music. In the film, Ajith will play two roles, with Trisha and Regina Cassandra as his heroines, while Sanjay Dutt and Aarav Nafeez play the other important roles.
