Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani which was released two weeks back was proved as a decent hit. Now Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2, and OMG 2 of Akshay Kumar are attracting superb footfalls at the theaters. Especially Gadar 2 is creating a havoc at the box office as it collected massive numbers.
The exceptional word of mouth has helped OMG 2, as it showed excellent growth on Day 2. The film showed solid growth at national multiplex chains and despite facing a tough competition with Gadar 2, the film has collected 10 CR and 15 CR net on first and second day, making a total of 25 CRS+ for 2 days.
Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 continues to dominate the box office as the film gathers sensational numbers in all territories, India wide. The trade circles are sure that the film is all set for a historic run, and it will comfortably cross Rs 200 CR net in its first week itself. Gadar 2 has collected a whopping 40 CR on the day 1, and it got more than 43 CR on day 2. Overall, the Total is 83CR+ for 2 days.
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, the Karan Johar Directorial which had a decent run for the 2 weeks, was affected by the two big releases this Friday, but the film was back in form on Saturday as it shows good growth by collecting 3.7 CR net yesterday. This romantic family entertainer has collected a Total of 126 CR+ in India until now.
