Fans and Audience of Tollywood and other film Industries witnessed the shocking arrest incident of Allu Arjun today. The Actor was taken into custody in relation to a case booked against him for a stampede that claimed the life of a lady during his Pushpa 2 premiere show. Many couldn’t believe the high-handedness of the Telangana Government led by Revanth Reddy in this case where the Actor was lifted out of his home. After detailed observation, an actual political reason behind the arrest of Allu Arjun has been cracked.
Allu Arjun who recently attended the success meet of Pushpa 2 forgot the name of Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy during his speech. The Actor took time to remember the name of Revanth Reddy and uttered his name only when people around him addressed it. This video has gone viral and many trolls were also made on the Chief Minister for his inpopularity among the film celebrities. This now seems to have angered the CM personally who also handles the Home Ministry in the state.
Revanth Reddy today participated in a conclave meeting for India Today. He when asked about the arrest of Allu Arjun said that the Actor had known him since long time and his wife Sneha Reddy was his relative. So, it is clearly evident that Revanth Reddy wasn’t impressed about the above incident of Allu Arjun forgetting his name and remembering only when others had helped him. He might have also felt embarrassed watching Allu Arjun not recognising him as the Chief Minister even after being close to him for years.
It can be understood that the arrest of such celebrities couldn’t be done without the assurance and orders of the Home Minister and the Chief Minister. So, Revanth Reddy here being the both pulled the task without any difficulty. Revanth Reddy would have also wanted this to go as a message to the celebrities. There are also speculations about him doing this to please Chandrababu Naidu who was his former boss. Allu Arjun endorsed his friend who represented the rival political party of Chandrababu Naidu. So, many are linking this to the arrest now. But this reason couldn’t be the sole one.
In any case, this happens to be completely unacceptable and unfortunate. A Government treating a National Award winning Actor this way is really odd and demeaning.
