Actress Tabu’s Netflix film Khufiya streaming from tonight

The OTT giant Netflix is making sure that its library filled with as much as content as possible every week. From tonight, Khufiya, a new thriller will be exclusively on Netflix. The film has been directed by Vishal Bharadwaj and the trailer of this spy thriller, which features Tabu, was released recently.

On Monday, Netflix released the official trailer of the film, which is based on a book called Escape to Nowhere, written by Amar Bhushan, former Chief of the Counter Espionage Unit of R&AW. Tabu, Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Azmeri Haque Badhon play the main roles in this thrilling ride. The film is available for streaming from tonight 12 AM on Netflix.

The trailer shows the events happened in 2004 at the R&AW headquarters in Delhi, which detects a potential information leak. “We have a mole in the agency,” says an insider. Tabu, who plays RAW agent Krishna Menon, investigates who might be the mole, and their suspicions fall on Dev, who is played by Ali Fazal. The agents begin to observe and track every aspect of his life, including his wife, played by Wamiqa Gabbi. The trailer suggested that more secrets are on the horizon as the investigation deepens.

Tabu and the director reunite in the Netflix film, following their collaborations in Maqbool (2003) and Haider (2014). Vishal revealed that he changed the protagonist’s gender during the Netflix’s Films Day event. Originally, a male character was a main role in Bhushan’s 2012 book, but he did not find it exciting enough.
