Actress Pooja Hegde had became a sensation in the Telugu film industry with Allu Arjun’s DJ (2017). She quickly got the status of top-rated star actress and never looked back. Post this, she was flooded with offers and worked with several top stars in big-budget films like Arvinda Sametha, Maharshi along with a special song in a blockbuster like Rangasthalam. She had also signed on for a massive Mega project- Acharya which starred Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan. However, the movie failed miserably at the box office and so did Pooja’s other films in Kollywood and Bollywood.
Pooja Hegde is going through a bad phase in her career with continuous failures and a few projects for which she was committed were also cancelled. Finally, she grabs a mega project now. According to the latest reports, Sai Dharam Tej and Sampath Nandi are joining hands for a new film. Pooja Hegde is said to be finalized as the female lead for the movie. Sampath Nandi is very well known to project heroines in a glamorous way and this could be a good chance for Pooja to attain a big commercial success.
Pooja’s last two Bollywood films Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Cirkus were massive disasters. Similarly, in Telugu, her films Acharya and Radhe Shyam also were box office failures. Even in Kollywood, her last project Beast didn’t live up to expectations. With back-to-back failures in the three industries, she had really faced a tough times over the recent days.
Apart from the new film of Sai Dharam Tej, the actress has Ustaad Bhagat Singh, and Paiyaa 2 from which she needs success badly. If these movies fail to make a mark, then Pooja Hegde might find it very tough to get chances afterward. Let’s wish the actress all the best for her upcoming projects.
