Actress Krithi Shetty Shares Her Ultimate Dream in the Cinema Industry

Actress Krithi Shetty is now busy in doing promotions for her next film Custody, during one of her interviews Krithi said becoming a director is her dream. She also said it might take 10 years of time for her to make it. The female directors list in the Telugu Film Industry might be less, but Krithi can fulfill her dream if she is serious about it.

Krithi Shetty, who made her entry with Uppena captured the hearts with her bubbly and energetic performance, continued her success streak with Shyam Singha Roy and Bangarraju. Thereafter, continuous failures had affected her career a bit, but she has a good number of films in line which can put her on track again.

Krithi Shetty was taken on to play the female lead against Suriya in ‘Vanangan’ to make her Tamil debut. For reasons unknown, Suriya got out of this Bala’s directorial, followed by Krithi Shetty. Krithi Shetty has, for the first time, opened up about stepping out of Bala’s directorial debut, “Vanangan.” The actress stated that the creative difference is the reason for Suriya stepping out of Bala’s ‘Vanangan’, and there were no disputes or disagreements between the duo, as the rumors suggest. Moreover, Krithi admitted that she has decided to step out of the project as the film’s production got extended.

However, Krithi’s Tamil debut did not take long because the actress signed her first Tamil film opposite Jayam Ravi, and the official announcement of the film will be out soon. She is also working for a Sharwanand’s film and a Malayalam film with Tovino Thomas. Krithi Shetty will be next seen on big screens in the Telugu-Tamil bilingual ‘Custody’, and the film is scheduled to release in theaters on May 12.

Directed by Venkat Prabhu, ‘Custody’ has Naga Chaitanya and Krithi Shetty in lead roles, along with Arvind Swami, Krithi Shetty, Priyamani, R Sarathkumar, Vennela Kishore, Sampath Raj, Premji, Aanandi and Ramki in the other important roles. The film has its music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and Ilaiyaraja. Produced by Srinivasaa Silver Screen, SR Kathir is handling the cinematography of Custody.
