Tamil star Suriya is currently part of an action drama film directed by Karthik Subbaraj. Tentatively titled #Suriya44, it features Pooja Hegde as the female lead. Co-produced by Suriya under ‘2D Entertainment’, the film’s music is composed by Santhosh Narayanan.
An action schedule from the project was supposed to be shot in Ooty, Tamil Nadu. Unfortunately, while doing so, Suriya was injured; he was immediately rushed to a private hospital nearby. Post-daignosis, doctors called it a’minor’ injury.
The actor came back to his hometown of Chennai following this incident. Besides #Suriya44, he is also part of Kanguva, an epic action drama film directed by Siva. Disha Patani is the female lead, while Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer. It is slated for release across five languages on 10th October, 2024.
