Aadi Sai Kumar’s Sairabanu: Cross-Cultural Love Story

Aadi Sai Kumar's Sairabanu

Aadi Sai Kumar is entering a promising phase of his career after Shambala emerged as a comeback success for the actor. Released in December 2025, the supernatural thriller) directed by Ugandhar Muni gave Aadi Sai Kumar a much-needed commercial boost after a prolonged run of underperforming films. The actor’s performance also received positive feedback, with critics noting the film marked a solid return to form. Riding on that momentum, Aadi is now choosing another relatively unconventional subject with Sairabanu, this time exploring a cross-cultural romance.

A Cross-Cultural Love Story

Directed by Phani Krishna Siriki, Sairabanu is described as a fun-filled romantic entertainer built around an unconventional love story between a Hindu boy and a Muslim girl. Bandhavi Sridhar plays the female lead opposite Aadi Sai Kumar, while Vennela Kishore is also part of the cast. The film is set against the backdrops of Hyderabad and Rajahmundry, with the makers promising a blend of romance, comedy, emotion and drama. The recently unveiled first look reinforces the premise, placing Aadi in traditional Hindu attire and Bandhavi in a hijab, with Hindu and Islamic architectural elements featured prominently in the background.

Production Updates

Sairabanu is being produced by Razesh Danda under the Hasya Movies banner, with Krishnakanth Paruchuri associated as co-producer. The film's first shooting schedule was completed in Hyderabad, with Aadi Sai Kumar, Bandhavi Sridhar, Vennela Kishore and other principal cast members participating. The makers have positioned the project as a fun-filled journey of love, faith and destiny, making it a significant change of genre for Aadi after the mystical thriller Shambala. With his previous film restoring some commercial confidence, Sairabanu now gives the actor an opportunity to build on that momentum with a lighter, more romantic outing.
