Allu Arjun and Lokesh Kanagaraj have put a full stop to the rumours around their much-awaited film, AA23. After weeks of talk that the project had been delayed or even shelved, the team has shared a new picture of the star and the director together, confirming that the film is very much on track and that interesting updates are coming soon.
One Picture, Many Answers
The picture shows Allu Arjun and Lokesh Kanagaraj in a deep, animated discussion on a balcony, with Lokesh explaining something and Allu Arjun listening closely. Allu Arjun is seen in a stylish new look with light brown hair and glasses, while Lokesh sports his trademark curly hair and beard.
For fans who had been worried over the last few weeks, the picture says it all. The two are clearly working together, and the film is moving ahead.
What the Rumours Said
Over the past few weeks, social media was full of speculation about AA23. Some claimed the film had been shelved, while others said it would take a long time to begin. There was also talk that Allu Arjun was not fully satisfied with the script, especially the second half, and that Lokesh was looking at other options.
None of these claims came from the team, and the latest update has now put all of them to rest.
A Big Combination
AA23 brings together two of the biggest names in Indian cinema for the first time. Allu Arjun is coming off Pushpa 2: The Rule, one of the biggest blockbusters in Indian cinema history. Lokesh Kanagaraj is known for stylish action films like Kaithi, Vikram, Leo and Coolie, with Leo and Coolie posting two of the biggest openings ever for a Tamil film.
The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the banner behind the Pushpa franchise, and Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music. Lokesh has also written the story.
When Will AA23 Begin?
Allu Arjun is currently busy with Atlee’s Raaka, which also stars Deepika Padukone. Once he completes his work on Raaka, he will move on to AA23. This gives Lokesh enough time to lock the final draft of the script and complete pre-production.
With the team promising interesting updates soon, fans can expect more news on AA23 in the coming weeks. The next big update could arrive around the festive season.
