A different marketing strategy by distributor, No Telugu shows For RRR on Day1 in Gulf

RRR is releasing world wide on 25th March all over the world. Out of India, our movies will perform well at US, UK, Australia and Gulf countries. The pre release business was excellent and all the distributors are ready for the release. Everyone is eyeing to release in maximum number of theatres and in all possible languages. So that they can gain good profits in the first few days itself. But the distributor in Gulf Cooperation Council is thinking in a different way.

If we observe the RRR shows and timings in GCC, it is understood that the distributor has different strategy in mind. Hindi version shows starts in GCC from 09:30 PM tomorrow. Whereas Telugu and other languages are releasing in GCC on Saturday, 26th March. Especially in UAE, Telugu & other languages are releasing on Sunday, 27th March.

We the Telugu audience or Indian film lovers cannot resist ourselves watching the much hyped star hero movie on the first day. So it looks like the distributor in GCC wants to cash on that. The distributor is expecting movie lovers especially Telugu audience to watch the movie in Hindi on the first day and then again the Telugu version later on weekend. As Rajamouli already hinted that as soon as one finishes watching RRR, he will wish to watch it again. So We have to see how the strategy of GCC distributor works.
